Euromembrane 2018

During Euromembrane 2018 from 9th to 13th July in Valencia, Spain, partner ITM-CNR (Institute on Membrane Technology, National Research Council, Italy) disseminated VicInAqua solutions in the field of membrane material innovation, with a poster about "Nanostructures based membrane functionalization: a quantum and molecular mechanics modelling" by Dr. Giorgio De Luca and an oral presentation about "VicInAqua project: development of self-cleaning and anti-biofouling membranes for wastewater treatment" by Dr. Francesco Galiano.

The Euromembrane conferences have been an outstanding forum for an intensive and inspiring exchange of knowledge in a broad range of membrane science and technology. They aim to bring together academic and industrial scientists from the field of membrane science and technology to stimulate contacts and to exchange new ideas on their research work. The conference is organised by the membrane group of the Research Institute for Industrial, Radiophysical and Environmental Safety (from the Universitat Politècnica de València) on behalf of the European Membrane Society (EMS). To encourage the participation of students and young researchers (0-8 years after the PhD), the EMS has launched several grants. Information on the eligibility and how to apply can be found at www.emsoc.eu.
