HAWtech Congress 2017: Build for the Future (event in German)

HAWtech-Tagung 2017 - Bauen für die Zukunft

The third HAWtech Congress took place in May 4 and 5, 2017 at Berlin University of Applied Sciences in Germany. The main goal was to bring together stakeholders from research, politics and business and discuss about the latest innovations in the building sector. The focus this year was on sustainability and digitalisation.

VicInAqua was there with coordinator and partner Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Karlsruhe - Technik und Wirtschaft, Germany) to present a poster describing our overall concept and in particular our developments towards higher energy efficiency, optimised water consumption, sensor technology and the integration of renewable energy sources.

HAWtech (derived from the German acronym for "Hochschulen für Angewandte Wissenschaften", University of Applied Sciences) is an alliance founded in 2009 by German leading universities of applied sciences in the field of Engineering Sciences: Aachen University of Applied Sciences, Berlin University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Dresden University of Applied Sciences, Esslingen University of Applied Sciences and Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
