From 13 to 22 July 2018, partner NARO (National Agricultural Research Organization, Uganda) participated to the 26th National Agricultural & Trade Show in Jinja, Uganda, in order to exhibit among others its latest research activities in the frame of VicInAqua, such as field studies about the awareness and acceptance of MBR and RAS technologies among relevant Uganda stakeholders.
Organised by the Uganda National Farmers Federation (UNFFE) , the show sets a platform for displaying and identifying innovations made by local and foreign companies through improved technologies for better production, marketing and poverty eradication. The focus this year was on how to manage the challenges of climate change bearing in mind how draught has divested agriculture over the last years. Different activities being carried out to address the effects of climate change were presented. Find more information about the show here.
