11 partners from 7 European and African countries aims at developing an integrated approach for water management by providing an integral, sustainable, innovative, cost effective and robust solution for water sanitation combined with the demand for clean water in aquaculture and irrigation in the Lake Victoria basin.

WATEC Italy 2017

21-23 June 2017 in Palermo, Italy

The 2017 session of the Water Technology and Environmental Control Exhibition and Conference included seminars and discussions about Desalination, Industrial Wastewater Treatment, Water Filtration and Ultra-filtration Technologies, Funding Opportunities, as well as a special focus on the Main Sicilian water related challenges thanks to the collaboration of both the Regional Government and the University of Palermo.

During three days, the exhibiting companies and participants could show case their achievements to potential clients and, therefore, increase investments within new emerging markets at a global level.

With the presentation of an adapted VicInAqua poster, the event was a great opportunity for partner ITM-CNR Institute on Membrane Technology, National Research Council (Istituto per la Tecnologia delle Membrane - Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Italy) to share experience and knowledge with actors in the field of wastewater treatment by membrane bioreactors (MBR) technology.
