11 partners from 7 European and African countries aims at developing an integrated approach for water management by providing an integral, sustainable, innovative, cost effective and robust solution for water sanitation combined with the demand for clean water in aquaculture and irrigation in the Lake Victoria basin.

NannoInnovation 2017

Taking place each year, the conference and exhibition NanoInnovation is organised jointly by AIRI, the Italian Association for Industrial Research and the NanoItaly Association, with the aim of gathering together the wide and multidisciplinary community involved in the development of nanotechnologies and in their integration with other enabling technologies (KETs) in all application fields. The 2017 session took place from 26 to 29 September in Rome, Italy.

Due to his extended research and innovation activities for advancing the sustainability and performance of water treatment, Dr. Alberto Figoli of partner ITM-CNR (Italy) was invited to give a lecture on "Advances of Membrane Technology in Water Treatment" during the TT.VI.E Technical multi-Track with parallel SYMPOSIA "Advanced nanomaterials and technologies for energy exploitation".
